Ever since I published a post called Pussy Galore a few weeks ago, hits to the blog have been inflated by people searching on the word ‘pussy’ – 1200 and rising. It’s heart-warming to know there are so many cat lovers out there in cyberspace interested in quirky moggie tales. Or maybe they’re fans of Honor Blackman, the ravishing, smoky-voiced Sixties beauty who played Bond girl Pussy Galore in Goldfinger. I hope they weren’t too disappointed to get a camp compilation of pussy-loving Mrs Slocombe from Are You Being Served?

Honor Blackman was marvelous. My Dad was a major fan of hers, and of Mr. Bond in general. On the other hand, my poor mother strongly disapproved. I used to have to accompany Daddy to every Bond movie when it came out. We had such fun. Mummy stayed home and sniffed when we came home and talked about all the explosions (and bikini girls).

When I worked at Kensington Town Hall, I’d often see Ms Blackman wandering in and out doing her business. she’s elderly now but still looks amazing.

Fact: There’s a village in Alaska named “BUSH Alaska” – now that’s just winding themselves up IMO :o0

Your special ‘followers’ will continue searching for this on a daily basis, so 1200 hits will grow and grow. I know from experience as Russell (VJ Ward, In Search of a Life Less Ordinary) used the words ‘Naked Sauna’ in a guest post title and people search for ‘naked’ and ‘naked sauna’ EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I can only hope a few like what they see and stick around, but my guess is most are seriously disappointed…
