Just because we can doesn’t mean we should. We usually fit in a jolly to the big city just before Christmas to see family. But not this year. Instead we’ll be hunkering down and staying put. My old girl will be one of the first in line for the vaccine as it’s rolled out, so we’ll see her after she’s had the jab. She understands. It’s the safest thing to do.

You are a dashing fellow. I can see where you get your good looks 🧑🏼🎄🎄

I will be having a solo Christmas. Plenty of time to get together when we are all vaccinated.

Likewise. Our numbers in Jamaica are already creeping up and it’s not even Christmas yet! Fears of a post-holiday spike… It will just be the two of us hunkering down with Netflix and Mariah Carey… (eye roll)… Have a good one and best wishes to your Mum!

Wise decision. My daughter is visiting right now with her boyfriend, but they’re car camping by my barn. We visit out on the patio, well spaced. Nice, but not at all the same.

Very sensible but, as you say, not ideal.
