There are pictures of guys in miniskirts saying they are going to walk about in Istanbul proclaiming that wearing a short skirt isn’t an invitation to rape.

This terrible crime does seem to have started an avalanche of soul searching. A good thing, I think. Even Erdogan, not exactly noted for his support of women’s right, has condemned it.
