I Heard it on the Grapevine

I’ve heard on the grapevine that some people who’ve pre-ordered my book from Amazon.co.uk have received an email informing them that delivery has been delayed. My publisher assures me that there’s no problem at the printing end of the process. Demand is such that Amazon are temporarily out of stock. Who’d have thought?

  1. Well that’s good news for you…and maybe bad news for me. I got my brother to pre-order for me in the hope it would arrive before I get to England on the 27th..let’s hope it arrives before I come home on 3 January. I told you it would fly didn’t I?

      1. Bu I should have said (unselfishly) that I am delighted for you that it’s in such demand. Fingers crossed for it being a best seller!

(Oh and I must pop over to get you to sign my copy when I get it please)

  4. Congratulations!! Is there any chance that I could buy it in Buenos Aires? Can’t do it through Amazon since my address changes quite frequently here.

    1. I understand that some bookshops in Buenos Aires are happy to order books in English – for you to pick up from the store. One of the largest chains is Kel (http://www.kel-ediciones.com) though there are others. If you give them the book’s ISBN, they may be able to order a copy for you:
      ISBN-10: 1904881645
      or
      ISBN-13: 978-1904881643

By the way, my next post is about Argentina. What a coincidence.

  5. Really glad it’s a success but I also heard today from Amazon that mine would be delayed. It was a Christmas pressie for my very crazy sis in law who I know would love it. Oh well I’ll have to get her something else – looks like I’ll have to make a trip to Ann Summers for something saucy! I’ll keep the book for myself when it eventually arrives.
